Laurels for the Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research Students

In the Annual BDS Examination conducted by Pt. B.D Sharma University of health Sciences Rohtak in August-September 2010 Students of SRCDSR have brought Laurels to the college by being amongst the ten top performers in the University Examinations.

Mankanwar Singh Khurana a student of 1st year BDS bagged First Position in the University amongst all Dental Colleges in Haryana ,5 out of 10 merit positions in the University were secured by students of this College.

Students of this college have been awarded the best meritorious outgoing students every year for seven consecutive years. The college is committed to maintain this records in the years ahead.

Pure Vision Eye Centre & Pure Vision Opticals

1.The new wing –Pure Vision Eye Centre & Pure Vision Opticals was inaugurated by Ch. Mahendra Pratap Singh, honorable Cabinet Minister (Govt. of Haryana) on 21st Nov 2010 at Shanti Devi Memorial Hospital associated with Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Science & Research Faridabad. The newly introduced Eye Centre provides general Eye Consultation, Computerized Eye Checkup, Cataract Surgery with Phacomulsification, Squint Surgery, Retina Consultation, Glaucoma surgery, Lasik Surgery & Corneal Problems treatment etc.

2.As per the Directions of the Honorable Supreme Court of India, Ragging in any form at any place on the Campus or outside , Especially in hostels is strictly Prohibited.

CDE on Periodontics 17th August 2010

On the 17th of August 2010, Department of Periodontics, SR dental college Faridabad organized a full day CDE Program. The guest speakers were Dr. Anoop Bhushan, Prof. and head Department of Periodontics Santosh Dental College and hospital Ghaziabad, who spoke on “The changing face of periodontal practice” and the second speaker was Dr. Nymphea Pandit, Prof. and Head Department of Periodontics, DAV (C) Dental College Yamuna Nagar, who talked about “ Autogenous grafts in Periodontal therapy.

Dept. of Periodontics has won prizes at National level for Oral Hygiene Celebrations in year 2009 & 2010. The Prizes were awarded at the Perio Conference at Dharwad & Bangalore respectively.

CDE ON Oral Pathology & Microbiology 29th September 2010
On 29th September 2010, Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology, SR dental college Faridabad organized a CDE Program. Dr. S.C. Sharma MBBS(AIIMS), DCP (Pune), MD (Path), (AIIMS), FRIPHH(UK), Exfaculty AFMC, Pune was the guest speaker who gave an overview on Correlating “Histopathology with Cytopathology” and the second speaker was Dr. Sharad Sahai Consulant & HOD, Dept. of Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology, DCA New Delhi who spoke on “EN ROUTE to the FINAL DIAGNOSIS”& Correlating “Histopathology with Radiodiagnosis
