Welcome to department of Prosthodontics including Crown bridge & Implantology. The department deals with replacement of missing tooth & other parts of body in head & neck region.

Infrastructure-

The department is spread over 18000 sq. ft. area having separate undergraduate, post-graduate, implant & laboratory section. The department is fully equipped to deal with basic as well as advanced treatment modalities in Prosthodontics. Under the guidance of highly qualified faculty that includes 2 professors, 2 associate professors, 3 senior lecturers the department is fulfilling even very advanced prosthodontic needs such as dental implants, full mouth rehabilitation, maxillofacial prosthesis, cast partial dentures, flexible dentures, overdentures, immediate dentures for the population in & around Faridabad. To support these advanced procedures the department has fully functional  metal ceramic, all ceramic and acrylic loboratories.
The focus of our department is in three main areas:

Patient care

A central tenet is a focus on excellence in patient care. In the outpatient department, patients may choose to be treated by department faculty or students who perform Prosthodontic treatment. Students render Prosthodontic treatment under direct supervision of faculty without any professional charges. Utmost care is taken to provide treatment that meets professional standards of care.

Education

Our second focused effort is teaching Prosthodontic dentistry at the undergraduate as well as post graduate level. We are teaching the most up to date methods in Prosthetic dentistry and related areas such as Implant Prosthodontics. Our education standards are determined by following factors

1. To teach the scientific basis of specialty practice;
2. To insure a high level of competence in the diagnosis of oral diseases, treatment planning both comprehensive prosthodontic and implant therapy;
3. To develop future leaders not only in the specialty of Prosthodontics, but also in the larger dental arena, with due emphasis on research and clinical aspects.

Research

The faculty in Department of Prosthodontics has been a strategically involved in research in the field of Prosthodontics & Dental materials. Research projects are designed to the level of international academic standards & many of research projects are being published in international journals.
