DEPARMENT OF ORTHODONTICS AND DENTOFACIAL ORTHOPAEDICS

Orthodontics is the oldest specialized branch of dentistry dealing with correction of teeth malpositions , jaw malpositions,  in children and adults &  strives to improve function along with esthetics .

Our department is headed by Dr Gurkeerat Singh, MDS , MOrth RCS, Diplomate Indian Board of Orthodontics.

Dr Gurkeerat Singh is currently Vice President, INDIAN ORTHODONTIC SOCIETY and has been guest speaker at numerous national and international conferences .He has numerous scientific publications in national and international journal to his credit.

He has authored two well known textbooks in subject of Orthodontics, and is most sought after academician and clinician par excellence in Indian Orthodontic fraternity.

His interests in current advances in Orthodontics enables all our department patients to benefit from latest and best in treatment modalities , like microimplants ,  lingual invisible orthodontics and lasers.

The Department has three postgraduate student intake per year and teaches them latest techniques in patient management, to prepare them for rewarding orthodontic career.

Department is equipped with latest dental units with separate undergraduate and postgraduate clinical areas. The postgraduate wing has separate wet, dry lab ,a cephalometric tracing room and photography room.

Seminars are held in   well equipped air-conditioned room with latest audiovisual aids.

Currently Department has more than two hundred running Orthodontics cases and maintains large OPD for regular new patient inflow.
